Main Street USA was once the beating heart of towns and cities across the country. Big box stores ripped that heart out and moved to the fringes of town. I believe that small businesses are the keystones to bringing heart back to our downtowns.

I started The Acadian in 2017 thanks to an increasing demand for high quality consumer goods. Investments in American made heirloom goods have surged among Millennials and older Gen Zers, generations that are mindful of where their money goes.

Then, in 2020 disaster struck. We all know the COVID-19 pandemic destroyed so many businesses. Mine was no different. Yet I persevered, and did pretty well for those strange years.

I am now at a crossroad: The Acadian either flourishes as an American success story, or it goes the way of so many unsupported small businesses, forced to shutter their doors forever.

I am here today to ask for your help in saving The Acadian.

I have big goals for The Acadian, including a rebrand, a brick and mortar shop, and large distribution throughout the United States. I believe my products will stand the test of time and be welcomed in communities around the country.

The Acadian is a visible example of how the arts must be kept alive so that other creative artisans can find a path like mine. But in order for The Acadian to survive and provide jobs for those who would like to learn from me and other craftspeople, I need your help.
