Help Disabled Athletes: Donate to CAF
Tax deductible
Friends, this Giving Season, I am supporting the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Sports has been a massively positive influence in my life and health. I am fortunate to have been able to enjoy sports my entire life as an unchallenged athlete. Unfortunately, millions of athletes in the US are not as lucky. 21 million people live with a disability in the US, and 50% of adults with a disability in the US get no aerobic exercise.
My goal is to raise $20,000 for CAF. Which is enough to buy a running prosthetic for a single leg amputee and a custom sport wheelchair for sports like wheelchair basketball. To get a jump on Giving Season I am going to match the first $5,000. You can support this effort through donations, words of support of by sharing with your networks. Thank you!!!
It is the mission of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. The Challenged Athletes Foundation believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence, and enhances quality of life.
For 30 years, CAF has been making a huge difference in the lives of children and adults by creating opportunities so individuals with physical challenges can live full, healthy, and active lives.
CAF has raised more than $178M and funded over 48,000 grant requests from individuals with physical disabilities in all 50 states and 70 countries across 105 different sports.
