Elijah is a deaf openly queer trans man with a profound passion for advocacy, dedicated to serving diverse communities across New Mexico. He recently celebrated graduating from the University of New Mexico and is eagerly looking forward to starting his Master's in Social Justice and Human Rights this fall. Tragically, Elijah was recently diagnosed with a rare degenerative neuromuscular condition that has rapidly and profoundly affected his life, particularly his mobility. Despite these challenges, Elijah's spirit remains unbroken.
