Empower Ethan’s Future at the National Leadership Conference
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Ethan Upshaw and I am a proud 2 year member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)!
Future Business Leaders of America is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. Each year, FBLA helps more than 230,000 members in middle school, high school, and college prepare for careers in business. Our goals are to strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work, create more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise, and much more.
I am asking for donations to help foster my attendance at this year’s National Leadership Conference (NLC). At the NLC, FBLA members have the competitive edge, as the best and brightest of FBLA convene to compete in leadership events, share their successes, and learn new ideas about shaping their career future through workshops and exhibits.
Attending the NLC would not only be an opportunity to further develop myself professionally, it would be also an opportunity to further develop myself personally.
To me, leadership is not about the title I may hold, nor the influence I may have. Leadership is having the opportunity to further develop yourself both professionally and personally.
From the moment I first joined FBLA, I have developed a strong passion for this phenomenal organization. While I am determined to attend the 2025 NLC, the likelihood of my attendance is dependent on the support from others, prayerfully you! While my father is currently awaiting surgery, from which he will be out of work for a considerable amount of time, the price to attend the NLC ($1900) leaves my parents unsure if I will be there this year.
Attending this year’s NLC is an opportunity I would not take for granted. I am a dedicated, hardworking and optimistic leader. Having the chance to attend the NLC, I would use every moment I would have to further develop myself professionally, personally, apply what I learn to everyday life to become a better leader and a better person.
Thank you so much!
