Hi everyone! I’m Laura Roehrick, RN, the founder of Project Street Feet and creator of The People's Foot Care Channel on YouTube. For years, I've dedicated my life to international foot care education, working with high-risk populations across the globe to prevent diabetic amputations through proper foot care. Now, I’m bringing that passion home to empower everyday people to make a difference in their communities.

Why Foot Care?

Every 30 seconds, someone loses a limb due to diabetes. This is often preventable with basic foot care. Through my channel, I will teach laypeople, family members, caregivers, and volunteers how to care for their own feet and the feet of loved ones, reducing the risk of ulcers, infections, and amputations. With the right education and simple tools, we can start a grassroots revolution in preventive foot care.

Why I Need Your Help

To fully launch this project, I need to raise $3,000. This funding will allow me to:

Cover rent for the next few months to maintain a dedicated studio space.

Hire a professional videographer, editor, and consultant to set up the studio and tape several instructional sessions.

Purchase essential supplies for creating video content.

Distribute athlete's foot care kits to day laborers, one of the most at-risk populations.

I envision using AI technology to expand this movement, making foot care education even more accessible and personalized. By incorporating AI, we can develop tools to provide people with at-home diagnostics and customized foot care plans, all driven by the content and training shared on the channel.
