Help Transform Hamduni's Life&Career in Engineering

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I want to share the story of my cousin Hamduni, a brilliant and passionate 21-year-old young man from Zanzibar, Tanzania. Hamduni and I grew up together until I moved to the United States with my immediate family in 2010. He is more like a brother to me, and I am deeply committed to helping him succeed in life in any way I can. I have witnessed firsthand his unwavering determination to succeed despite the many challenges he has faced.

Hamduni is not only one of the brightest people I know, consistently rankinging in the top 5 of his entire grade every year, but he is also incredibly passionate about software engineering. His dedication extends beyond academics—he finds joy in extracurricular activities like soccer and basketball. Unfortunately, his path has not been easy. Raised by our grandparents since he was just three months old, Hamduni experienced profound loss at a very young age. Our grandfather passed away when he was only four, and our grandmother, who was his primary caregiver, passed away when he was six.

Despite these hardships, Hamduni never gave up. He had the opportunity to study abroad during primary school from 2012 to 2016, but financial constraints forced him to return to Zanzibar. Back home, he faced a tumultuous and unstable environment. Yet, his spirit remained unbroken. Hamduni transferred to a boarding school, where he thrived in a more structured environment.

While I was fortunate enough to reunite with my immediate family in the United States, Hamduni did not have the same opportunity. His life has been a series of ups and downs, but his passion for learning and his dream of becoming a software engineer have never wavered.

Today, I am asking for your support to help Hamduni take the next big step in his journey. We are working on bringing him to the United States to study, where he can be closer to me—the only family member left who can provide the support and stability he needs to flourish. Your generous contributions will help cover his tuition, travel expenses, and living costs, allowing Hamduni to focus on his studies and achieve his dreams.
