Empower Her Essence Foundation

The Empower Her Essence Foundation , started by me Sereina Apodaca a student from Cushman High School, I am on a mission to improve the lives of young girls in low-income Jamaican schools. Even though I now live in Miami, I still care deeply about Jamaica.

My foundation's goal is clear: I want to put sanitary dispensers and sanitary products in Jamaican schools. But it's more than just giving out basic supplies. I want to create a supportive environment where young girls feel comfortable and confident when they need sanitary products. I believe every girl should have access to these essentials in the bathroom, without any hesitation.

My main goal is to raise $15,000, which is a significant first step in our mission. I want to ensure that no girl will ever feel scared or embarrassed about needing a sanitary product because it will be installed in the bathroom, readily available without the need to ask. This initiative isn't just about hygiene; it's about boosting their confidence and self-worth. I want to make it easy for girls to access what they need without any fear.
