Aloha my name is Jasmine Steiner. I am a born and raised Puna, Hawaii woman with a goal of helping my beautiful Puna community here in our little corner of the world .

This July 2024, my community enters a never before seen Geothermal Injunction against the foreign owned geothermal plant in our backyards , Puna Geothermal Venture, as well as the County of Hawaii and the planning dept director Zendo Kern.

My mom is the pro se who filed this injunction, and within it there are many people from the community who have endured decades of cover ups , as well as scientists who have scientifically shown what we as a community are accusing.

Due to the severity of this issue and the decades of community sufferings being concealed from the world by any news medias and independent journalist's, I pretty much have been the sole person updating the world on Geothermal issues in Hawaii , for years and years now. In order for me to accurately help my community finally get anywhere after a 40 year environmental , human health and cultural erasure fight , I need your help. ( see --> Day 1 Hawaii Geothermal Injunction )

I am reaching out for assistance to acquire a functional laptop to support my efforts to aid the community , the Lower East Roft Zone of Kīlauea Volcano, which is being mercilessly fracked amd unmonitoredfor decades in our backyards.

Living in poverty as the sole provider for my family of three in Hawaii's lava zone 1, I face daily challenges, as well as am under constant threat from the geothermal-- and I NEED to be able to accurately document these things for my community, as well as their reports . I have been doing this for years from my small phone.

Along with this, my community is also facing extreme challenges, and has been since i was 6 months old. We are currently engaged in a prolonged battle against a foreign entity, and a computer is crucial for me to effectively assist the hundreds of individuals here as I raise global awareness about this extreme world wide issue (geothermal cons are concealed from the world. You only see the false narratives regarding clean energy as they cover up decades of sufferings.)

Your support would greatly impact not only my family but also the entire community in Hawaii. There is so much I need to do and I cannot without the correct equipment. I try so hard to get my goals met, and i hate asking for help. But i know the Universe provides. Times are so hard with money, and asking for help is one of the hardest things for me.

Struggling to make ends meet and care for my daughter while managing a community organization and also working full-time, doung it all without a computer has been a significant challenge. With your help in obtaining a working laptop, I can enhance my ability to provide assistance to those in need within my community.
