Nonesuch River Brewing, the Poland community and the many other communities she was part of lost a beautiful soul when Jaclyn Desiree Anania, just 34, passed away unexpectedly on November 26th, 2024. Those who knew Jaclyn will forever remember her contagious laugh, beautiful smile, and the way she lived life to the beat of her own drum. We were some of the lucky ones at the right place and time to feel her warmth and cheer.
Jaclyn joined our work family shortly after Cyndi’s Dockside was officially changed to Nonesuch River Brewing. From there, we witnessed daily how she lit up our restaurant with her presence. Customers and co-workers quickly became friends. Her sense of humor and positivity were contagious.
A 2009 graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School, Jaclyn was a talented artist at heart, with an especially keen eye for photography and a deep love for the outdoors. She embraced life fully – whether hunting, fishing, camping, she always traveled with her sweet dog Monson. But above all else, Jaclyn's greatest pride and joy was her beloved daughter, Kynsley.
Now, we want to honor Jaclyn's memory by supporting Kynsley's future. At the request of many customers and many co-workers whose lives Jaclyn touched, we've created this fund to help provide for Kynsley's educational needs, school supplies, medical care, and other essentials as she grows.
This fund will be managed by Kynsley's father, Joe Billings, ensuring that every contribution goes directly to supporting Kynsley's future – the future that Jaclyn always envisioned for her daughter. While nothing can replace the loss of a mother whose love and light continues to guide us, we hope this support will help Kynsley continue to thrive and carry forward her mother's beautiful spirit.
Your kindness, no matter the size of the contribution, helps ensure that Jaclyn's legacy of love and warmth lives on through her greatest masterpiece – her daughter Kynsley.
