My name is Tara and I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Laura. We've known each other via a close mutual friend for over twenty years and have some shared communities. Laura really needs our support. She is a loving and devoted mother of two young children, ages four and seven, embarking on the difficult journey of starting from scratch after leaving an unhealthy marriage.
For over seven years, Laura has dedicated herself to being a full-time mom, nurturing her two children. Recently, she made the difficult decision to separate from her husband and start anew. This choice, while necessary for her well-being and that of her children, has left her facing significant challenges.
As a stay-at-home-mom who is now restarting her career, Laura does not have adequate independent income to sustain herself and her children AND pay for the staggering costs of legal representation for her separation process and custody litigation in court. Without proper legal support, Laura risks what matters most: her children's future and her ability to build a stable life for them. She's fighting for fair arrangements for child custody, adequate child support, and her rightful share of assets.
Please note: divorces with custody disputes can exceed a cost of $50,000 in northern Virginia.
