Empower Lincoln's Journey to World Karate Stage

My name is Lincoln Parrilla and I am fundraising for my trip to Cambrils, Spain in October this year to participate in the World Traditional Karate Championship.

I have been training Karate for 3 years and have competed 3 times Nationally and once at the World Championship in 2022 in Poland where I won gold in Kata for my age and rank. Karate has helped me gain confidence in myself and to learn how to treat other people with respect. I will forever be grateful to Sensei Avi Rokah, Ruth Rokah and Michele Porjes at Rokah Karate for helping me be the best version of myself.

Karate is not all about competitions. It's actually about your self development, to train hard and to be better than you were yesterday. But the tournament gives me a short-term goal, to push myself harder than how I normally train.

With your support, I can travel to Cambrils, Spain for a week and compete in the World Championship. This is not only a chance to compete, but also a chance to see more of the world and appreciate its’ beautiful diversity.

I'm not going to promise you that I will win. However I will promise you that I will train hard and will perform the best as I can at the world's stage. Thank you for reading this and thank you for your support.
