Empower Mac's Education in Memory of Julia

Julia's intelligence was one of the key things that defined her personality. She prided herself on knowing facts, information, being able to problem-solve, and debate like no one else. Academics came easily to Julia, and she never took that for granted. Education had always been something she took seriously and hated to waste. She was proud of her academic accomplishments and spoke often of her hopes for her son, Mac's college experience. Mac has an incredible talent in visual arts and has many interests he would like to pursue. Julia had a lot of ideas, as you might imagine, for the many directions Mac could take.

As a family, while we have been processing Julia's passing, we have been struggling to find some bit of hope and happiness out of all that has happened. Collectively, we quite strongly agree that Julia would have been pleased and humbled by our attempting to assist Mac as he begins this next big step in his life, in his secondary education. We know that Julia would have been his biggest cheerleader throughout college and supported him in every way that she could have. As her family, we hope to help Mac in any small way that we can. Whether it is help buying books, meals, or help with tuition; if you're looking for a way to show your support, we ask that you show it by supporting Mac's education fund that we are starting in honor of his mom, Julia.
