Empower my dream. Special Olympics USA 2025!

Hi! My name is Klaudia Parra, and I am a proud athlete of the Special Olympics USA floor-ball team. I am 23 years old and currently reside down in South Texas with my family. I was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 5, but never let that define me or my capabilities.

Since I was in 3rd grade, I started participating in Special Olympic sports. I have competed in swimming, track and field, basketball, bowling, and now floor-ball.

Special Olympics USA is the world’s largest sport organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, providing year-round training and activities to 5 million participants and Unified Sports partners in 172 countries. The Special Olympics USA organization has made a pivotal impact on my life, allowing me to participate in extracurricular activities, gain friendships, and give a community for me and other people with disabilities.

In March of 2025, Special Olympics USA will be hosting their World Winter Games in Turin, Italy. This year I was fortunate enough to be selected as one of many participants to travel to Italy and compete. I am creating this fundraiser to help cover my equipment, training, travel, and any other expenses I may need to help me on my journey to attend the world games.
