Empower Nepali kids free education and smiles

Hello I am Ragussina! I have travelled to Nepal in August 2022 to volunteer at Aniko Sansar Education Center.

Based in the city of Pokhara Nepal, Aniko was established in 2014 aiming to provide education for the children in the slum and the rural area. It also helps younger adults to reach their independence by supporting with higher education or providing vocational trainings.

At Aniko's I had the opportunity to support the kids daily with English classes, helping with homework, playing games and drawing a lot with the girls !

In the picture sitting next to me with a beautiful smile is Suzanne, shes's 9 years old and wants to be a teacher when she grows up At the center she has 24h assistance with accommodation, meals, school, extracurricular activities, medical assistance etc. Otherwise, it would not be possible for her to pursue her basic education. This is why I have choosen this project, as their impact is real. So, all our support is necessary, to help Suzanne among other kids reach their dreams

During those days I had the feeling that the kids had loads of smiles, love and warmth from this big Aniko family ❤️ In order to get this cousy environment, the center only accepts few children at the time, to make sure they can give the best attention towards the children's needs.

This education center also helps kids locally in the nearby villages.

All this is possible by their efforts in keeping the project on the go and mostly the private donators help

- Education supplies for the children during one year

- Replace the iron and coloring the school walls in Chimrung village

- Extracurricular activities

- Medical assistance
