Empower Omaha's Cultural Dance Event

With this type of event we planned for the drill teams and dance teams of the community to be able to receive support from their community in the form of cash donation, promotion, and support. This project will also allow the local community businesses and entrepreneurs the opportunity to sell merchandise as vendors which will allow the community dollars to circulate within itself which is needed. Our goal is also to bring some pride and awareness to the community about why the drill teams and dance team were/are started, why they were/are important and why should be honored. We would also like for this event to stimulate interest in the community to sign up more youth for the drill and dance teams.

The IzzA VybE Battle In The O.NE project is being created to be a conductor of togetherness and pride. The community around us has always had the amazing potential for pulling the resources it has on hand together and really providing as much of sense of closeness and support as possible. This event will help to acknowledge and reward a valuable part of our community who have history in contributing to and supporting the achievements and accomplishments of the people, groups, and businesses around them. This type of event will not only provide the type of knowledge that can help to remind the community of the of strength and power through creativity and unity it has but foster the 3 C's of successful community engagement which is collaboration, consultation, and communication.

We are looking to raise $800 to assist us in bringing this event to fruition and it’s fullest potential, and show our community what it can do when we show our strength in numbers.
