Empower Our Team with NAMM Experience

Help send the staff at Music on Magnolia to the North American Music Merchants (The NAMM Show) convention in Anaheim, California, in January 2025!

We hope to raise $8,000 to cover registration fees, flights, lodging, and a per diem for our staff, providing us a week of musical inspiration and professional development. At NAMM, we'll be able to attend educational seminars, try out the newest music gear and instruments, network with our favorite musicians and music professionals, attend inspiring performances, and do some serious team building. We'll be bringing back everything we learned to Music on Magnolia in hopes of further improving the students' experience.

In January 2024, owner Michael Kelly and instructor Felix Cruz attended NAMM for the first time. The experience was transformative, giving us new ideas, instruments, and perspectives that we've since implemented at our studio. Our goal is to attend NAMM every year with our entire team, continuing to build on our momentum and improve our students' experience.

Here's a breakdown of the costs associated with the experience, funding all 8 of our staff members:

About Music on Magnolia:

We're a private music lesson school located in San Antonio, Texas, that's been operating since 2014. In 2020, owner Michael Kelly moved his students out of his house and into a new location, hiring local musicians to teach the incoming students. Our instructors are multi-instrumentalists with music degrees, gigging experience, and a passion for music education. We host dozens of live performances each year featuring our student bands that perform songs THEY chose. Our boutique music school takes a very hands-on approach to music education, personalizing each student's learning experience according to their instruments and proclivities. We are very proud of our role in the community, being the go-to school for curious musicians ages 5+ and putting on epic shows at San Antonio's most popular venues.
