Hello, I am Sabrina Cates, an artist, educator, and healer born in New Orleans and now living in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I’m a performance poet, reiki master, visual artist, and the creator of Retro Recess, a community space dedicated to helping adults rediscover joy, wonder, and connection with their inner child. Retro Recess was born from my belief that play can heal us, offering a safe haven where adults are invited to pause, connect, and nurture the parts of themselves that might have been forgotten or overlooked.

Through Retro Recess, I’ve witnessed the incredible transformations that come when people give themselves permission to play. In a world often focused on productivity and survival, Retro Recess provides a unique space for healing and self-discovery. Here, we embrace play as a path to reconnecting with our authentic selves, allowing us to heal and find new strength. This journey has deepened my calling to become a certified play practitioner, empowering me to guide both adults and children through therapeutic play to release trauma and rediscover joy.

I’m honored to have been accepted into the Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills Certification Program, a clinically accredited program that will enable me to provide play therapy with a deeper understanding and impact. This certification is more than just a credential—it’s the next step in my lifelong mission to bring play, joy, and healing to as many people as possible. Tier 1: Donations of $0 to $250

For those who give in this range, I am offering the following services as a thank-you:

* Reiki Healing (Distant or In-Person): A 30- to 60-minute reiki session to promote healing, balance, and relaxation.

* Handwritten Encouragement Letter: A customized letter of encouragement and inspiration, intuitively written and sent to you or someone special in your life.

* Customized Original Poem: A unique poem created to uplift or capture a sentiment of your choice.

* Digital Photography Session (In-Person): A 1-hour photo session at a single location with 1 outfit, including 20 photos with 3 edited selections.

* Film Photography Experience (In-Person): A 1-hour shoot with film, 32 exposures, and 1 location, with both printed and digital copies of all photos.

* Wardrobe Styling Tips: Advice on how to create a personal style with your existing wardrobe, based on my 15+ years as a stylist.

* Dating Profile Setup: Personalized guidance to create a dating profile that reflects your true self, drawing from my experience working for a dating app.

* Autographed Copy of My Journal Prompt Book: My personal guidebook, Pocketful of Prompts, filled with meaningful questions to help you reconnect with yourself.

* Vagina Drawing: A digital or in-person print designed with respect and empowerment.

*Travel Planning & Booking: I’ll help you book travel to your chosen destination, including itinerary recommendations, so your trip feels intentional and well-planned.

Tier 2: Donations of $250 to $600

For those who give in this range, I am offering the following options:

* Reiki Healing (Distant or In-Person): Three 1-hour reiki sessions for healing and alignment.

* Digital Photography Session (In-Person): A 2.5-hour photoshoot with 2 locations, 2 outfits, 55 total photos, and 15 edited selections.

* Film Photography Experience (In-Person): A 2-hour shoot with 64 exposures, 2 locations, and 2 outfits, including all printed and digital images.

* Day in the Thrift (In-Person): A half-day shopping trip to select a new wardrobe based on your vision, including 300 baht of purchases, plus lunch.

* Resume Building: An in-depth consultation to create or refine your resume, ideal for artists or professionals seeking a fresh start.

* Modeling Services (In-Person): 4 hours of modeling for your brand, backed by my 15+ years of experience.

* Any 2 Services from Tier 1: If none of these offerings feel right, you may select any two options from Tier 1.

*Travel Planning & Booking: Detailed trip coordination, including travel booking, accommodation recommendations, and a curated itinerary to make your journey memorable and seamless.

Tier 3: Donations of $600 and Above

For donors at this level, I am offering some of my most immersive services, as well as options from previous tiers:

* Reiki Healing (Distant or In-Person): Six 1-hour sessions for comprehensive energy healing.

* Photography Experience (In-Person): A 4-hour session with 3 to 4 outfit changes, 3 locations, 77 photos, and 25 edited selections.

* Film Photography Experience (In-Person): A 3-hour shoot with 96 exposures, 3 outfits, 3 locations, and all images provided in digital and print.

* Paint Your Walls (In-Person): I will paint your walls in a color or pattern of your choice; you provide the paint.

* Wall Mural (In-Person): I will create a custom mural for your space; please note that this option requires a detailed discussion with me before selection.

* Creative Direction (In-Person or Distant): I’ll offer creative direction for one of your projects, drawing from my experience as an artist, event organizer, and creative director. This option will also need to be discussed in detail with me before choosing.

* Any 3 Services from Tiers 1 or 2: You may also select three options from the first two tiers.
