Empower SAKURA Tempesta's Engineering Dreams
Donation protected
Please support the Japanese robotics team, SAKURA Tempesta! We have been competing in FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC #23232 since 2023) and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC #6909 since 2017). This year, we will travel to South Korea for FTC and Minnesota for FRC. Participating in these regional competitions from Japan comes with significant costs, and we need your help!
Our members, junior and senior high schoolers in Japan, are proud that we are Japan's longest-surviving FTC/FRC team. Throughout the year, we practice basic robotics skills to prepare for the competition, host STEAM-related events with our sponsors to share the excitement of engineering with participating youth, and make social contributions such as donating face shields starting with the COVID-19 pandemic. As students in Japan, we hardly have access to hands-on engineering education at school. By participating in FRC and FTC, we gain not only fundamental technical skills but also fun and creative teamwork experience.
When it comes to financial difficulties, we face numerous challenges. Fundraising in Japan is difficult as FRC and FTC are barely known in Japan, and charity is not culturally well-rooted. We may lack financial means, but this does not mean we lack skills or ambition. We want to prove to the world that we can compete in the global league. Please help us participate in the competition and demonstrate our potential.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
