At the Sherita Cherry Institute, we believe that beauty is more than a service — it's a platform for transformation, empowerment, and entrepreneurship. Founded by Sherita Cherry, a licensed cosmetologist, educator, and visionary leader with over 25 years in the industry, SCI is a place where purpose meets passion. Sherita’s mission is deeply personal — to create opportunities she didn’t always have, and to build a school that uplifts, inspires, and prepares the next generation of beauty professionals for real success.

Many of our students are first-generation professionals, young parents, or individuals seeking a fresh start. Sherita built SCI to be more than a school — it’s a safe space, a launchpad, and a family.

Now, we’re asking for your support to take our students to the Premier Hair Show in Orlando, Florida (May 31–June 1) — one of the most prestigious beauty industry events in the world.

This experience is life-changing. Here’s what your donation makes possible:

✨ Hands-On Learning from Industry Experts: Students will attend live demos and advanced education classes in hair, makeup, barbering, business, and branding — taught by top professionals from around the world.

✨ Exposure to the Bigger Picture: They’ll see beauty at a global level — where it intersects with fashion, technology, business, and innovation.

✨ Personal Growth & Confidence: For many, this will be their first flight, their first big trip, and the first time they truly feel seen as part of something greater.
