Empower Shannon's Team with Education and Tools

I am Shannon Stevens, OTR/L, ASDCS, the owner of Sprout Pediatric Therapy Services, LLC.

I have an early intervention agency that employs Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Nutritionists, Special Instructors, and Behavioral Specialists who support children and families that qualify for services due to developmental delays or with a qualifying medical diagnosis. We travel to work with children and families in the home environment and daycares in Louisiana and will soon be going to Mississippi. I want to address 3 needs with this GoFundMe account:

1. We deliver services to families who have limited resources. I would like to have the capacity to meet their needs when they are identified. This may be items like highchairs, feeding equipment, harnesses for safety, toys, bedding, etc. Things we often have in a home that we take for granted when we are privileged. These are items not funded as adaptive equipment through the state EI system or by insurance companies.

2. I want to support my interventionists in getting high-quality continuing education to ensure we maintain a skill set that is up-to-date and research-based. Sprout Pediatric Therapy Services LLC

3. I need to pay for the Sprout website. It enables my interventionists to lead families to a place of support where they gain good information in the care and development of their child with special needs. It is used for teaching and training in addition to engaging professionals to join my team of interventionists.
