Did you know, there are thousands of healthy dogs and cats euthanized every year in the U.S.A.? That our country funds warehouses on every corner but can’t cultivate that mindset in cities struggling with overpopulation? Instead, animals who are already terrified and traumatized are murdered by the state “for space”.

That these animals fought every day whether in the streets, abusive situations, etc. for their lives and are finally rescued by humans just to be murdered a week later? Their lives matter, we’ve domesticated these creatures and must bare the burden better than that. To fight for your life, get rescued just to end up in a kill shelter and murdered within days of that is ridiculous.

I am somewhat of a Snow White, I enjoy the presence of animals and can see myself taking on a project like this relentlessly. I don’t let negative people stand between myself and the animal in need. I do know what I’m up against and plan to work with those in need of housing to cultivate stability for them as a faith-based sanctuary. I love the animal welfare community and appreciate every single person who is fighting for the cause. Rescues are so important in this country as we have a long way to go in animal welfare.
