Empower Students with Disabilities at Lanier High School

Hi, friends and family! As some of you may know, I am currently in the process of attaining my certification to teach High School English Language Arts and Reading. This process takes about 2 years to complete, so this year, I'm pleased to announce that I will be returning to Lanier High School as an Instructional Assistant with the English department.

My primary responsibility is to assist about 60 students across 8 classes who receive special education services. These are students who might have learning disabilities like dyslexia, are deaf or hard of hearing, have emotional disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and so on and so forth. I am humbly requesting financial assistance so that I may provide supplies and resources for my students to thrive, achieve their goals, and understand that they are capable regardless of their disabilities!
