Empower Survivors: Donate Gas for Safety via Nonprofit Haven

I'm raising money for the Haven Foundation in Pontiac, MI. This was created to assist all survivors of domestic violence whether it it be verbal abuse, physical abuse, stalking, or rape. Survivors often have a difficult time getting away from their abusers. As a survivor of rape and stalking this organization is close to my heart. Haven has done an AMAZING job helping me stay safe during the legal process of obtaining a restraining order (personal protection order).

One area that needs more attention is gas cards. It broke my heart hearing a mother here locally in Michigan lose both her children because the car ran out of gas and those innocent lives were taken due to hypothermia. No one should ever lose children or anyone because they froze to death.

Therefore, 100% of the funds raised will go to Haven to make sure survivors have gas to find a safe place, even if it means parking your car in a safe location and resting. Shelters are often full as well.
