Empower Underserved Children-Music & Art Therapy Scholarship

Welcome to Always Keep Progressing's (AKP) fundraiser for our Music & Art Therapy Scholarship Fund! We're excited to invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of underserved children in our community in Miami.

At AKP, we're passionate about providing personalized therapy to children of all ages, helping them reach their full potential. We offer a range of therapies, including Speech, Occupational, Feeding, Music, and Art therapy. We've witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of expressive therapies like Music and Art alongside traditional therapies in enhancing children's overall well-being.

However, we recognize that not all families have access to these crucial services due to financial constraints or insurance limitations. That's why we're launching this scholarship fund to ensure that every child has the opportunity to benefit from expressive therapies, regardless of their financial situation.

Our goal is to raise funds to provide scholarships for underserved families who cannot afford Music and Art therapy sessions not covered by their insurance. These therapies play a vital role in improving children's communication skills, emotional expression, and overall quality of life, leading to social, emotional, and academic benefits.

To kick off this initiative, we're hosting a benefit concert featuring our CEO, Music therapist, and UM students who share our commitment to supporting children's development. Our Art Therapy team will also be showcasing artwork created in collaboration with AKP’s special needs clients. Your contribution will directly support this scholarship fund, allowing us to offer the gift of therapeutic music and art to children and families in need.
