Empower Xiaoling Li: Keep a Senior Immigrant Safe & Stable

We are asking for your support for Xiaoling Li, a 71-year-old immigrant who has been facing significant adversities in recent years. Having no close relatives in the country and losing her work permit, she is ineligible for any government programs or rental assistance; moreover, her health issues and age make it even more difficult for her to find employment and secure a job. Despite these obstacles, Ms. Li remains hopeful and determined. She is eager to find a job and become financially independent, but her circumstances pose a great obstacle and make her goals nearly impossible.

Li currently owes approximately $2,000 in rent, with $400 due each month, and is facing eviction. In addition to covering rent, she needs support for living expenses and medical needs. She has tirelessly sought help from various support offices, only to be redirected from location to location with no resolution. We ask the community to come together to show she’s not alone in this hard time.

She has a particular fondness for beef and fish, and your support allows her to enjoy these simple pleasures, as well as covering her basic necessities.
