About Rashod Armon Stanley:
Fashion Designer & Community Leader
My name is Armon Rashod, and I am a fashion designer, entrepreneur, and community leader dedicated to empowering inner-city youth through creativity and skill-building.
At 14, I attended Douglas County High School in Douglasville, Ga. and graduated in 2013. Soon after, I pursued automotive technology at Atlanta Area Technical School but left after a year to follow my true passion—fashion. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. in the trenches of Perry Homes and Etheridge Court Apts. By the age of 20, I had opened my first clothing store off Bankhead Hwy a low income high crime area.
At age 21 in 2016, my life took a challenging turn when I was arrested for unarmed robbery after getting involved with the wrong crowd. I spent the next 7 & 1/2 years incarcerated, but instead of letting my circumstances define me, I used that time to refine my craft. With only dental floss and a paper clip, I taught myself how to sew, turning my vision into reality. I started designing clothing while incarcerated. My unique designs eventually gained recognition, leading to viral success and features on Wendy Williams, B.E.T, Complex Magazine, The Shade Room and WorldStar.
I learned my lesson, did my time and thank God for a 2nd chance. Since my release September 2023 at the age of 29, I have wasted no time rebuilding my future. Within six months, I secured my second business location and I’m now preparing for the grand opening of The Trenches Global Impact Center on February 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm 2947 Legion Way East Point, Ga. 30344. This community center is dedicated to helping youth develop skills in fashion design, video production, and entrepreneurship—completely free of charge.
My mission: to give young people opportunities I didn’t have, guiding them toward a future of creativity, success, purpose and to ensure they “don’t” go down the wrong path!
I look forward to collaborating and continuing to make an impact.
