"Empowering Dayaveer: A Journey of Hope"

Donation protected
Introduction:
In February 2016, our lives were forever changed when we welcomed our beautiful son, Dayaveer, into this world. His journey began with bravery as he fought against E.coli meningitis at just six weeks old. Dayaveer was rushed to Birmingham Children's hospital with this life-threatening condition and underwent an emergency operation, which, unfortunately, caused long-term complications. Despite the odds, Dayaveer's spirit persevered, and we celebrated each small victory. However, as he grew older, we realized that his battle was far from over. At the age of three, Dayaveer was diagnosed with severe autism spectrum disorder, and our family was plunged into a whole new world of challenges and uncertainties.

The Frustrating Waiting Game:
As any parent would, we turned to the NHS and local authorities for support, hoping to access the resources and therapies Dayaveer needed. However, we encountered long waiting lists stretching from 12 to 24 months. The limited resources available made it even more challenging for Dayaveer to get the timely help he deserved. Our hearts ached as we saw him struggle to communicate, express his feelings, and grasp even the simplest life skills.

The Power of ABA Therapy:
In our desperate search for solutions, we stumbled upon Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. This intervention offers hope for Dayaveer's development and a chance to improve his life skills significantly. ABA therapy has shown immense promise in helping individuals with autism to thrive and reach their full potential. It involves a team of professionals, including pediatric dieticians, consultants, tutors, occupational therapists, education psychologists, and solicitors, working collaboratively to address Dayaveer's unique needs.

The Cost of Hope:
While ABA therapy represents a ray of hope for our beloved Dayaveer, it comes at a significant cost. The expenses involved in hiring these professionals, obtaining learning resources, and acquiring specialized learning toys have stretched us thin both emotionally and financially. We find ourselves grappling with feelings of exhaustion and the weight of the responsibility to provide the best possible care for our precious son.

A Call for Support:
Asking for help has never been easy, but the love we have for Dayaveer outweighs any pride or hesitation. We are reaching out to our extended family, friends, and kind-hearted supporters, hoping that you will join us in this crucial journey. Your support, no matter how small, will enable us to afford ABA therapy for Dayaveer and break the barriers that hold him back from living an independent and fulfilling life.

The Dream of Independence:
Our dream is to see Dayaveer thrive and blossom into the incredible person we know he can be. With ABA therapy, we envision him learning to communicate, interact with the world around him, and develop essential life skills. Achieving milestones such as putting on his shoes, mastering toilet training, and expressing his feelings will be monumental victories that will bring immeasurable joy to our hearts.

A Grateful Heart:
As we embark on this journey towards Dayaveer's independence, we are humbled and grateful for any support you can offer. Your contribution will not only assist us in accessing ABA therapy but also bring solace to our hearts, knowing that we are not alone in this challenging endeavor.

Conclusion:
Life has tested us in ways we could have never imagined, but Dayaveer's spirit and resilience continue to amaze and inspire us. With your generous support, we believe that Dayaveer can overcome the obstacles that autism presents and embrace a future full of opportunities and growth.

Thank you from the depths of our hearts for standing with us, for believing in Dayaveer's potential, and for being a beacon of hope in our lives. Together, we can give Dayaveer the chance he deserves to thrive, and your kindness will forever be etched in our hearts.
