Empowering Education: Path to Shana Bet in Israel

Dear friends, family, and compassionate individuals,
I hope this message finds you in good health and good spirits. My name is Avishalom Benayoun, and I am reaching out to share a profound experience that has shaped my life in immeasurable ways. Last year, I had the privilege of attending a Yeshiva in Yerushalayim. The transformative impact of my time there has instilled in me an unwavering desire to return this year. However, I humbly seek your support through this campaign to make this dream a reality.
Throughout my time at the Yeshiva, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery that went beyond academic pursuits. The immersive environment fostered an atmosphere of deep introspection, personal growth, and spiritual enlightenment. Under the guidance of my great Rabbanim and alongside an incredible group of friends, I delved into the study of Gemara, Chumash, and different Musar and Yesod studies and I explored profound concepts and halachot. I engaged in meaningful discussions that broadened my horizons.
The Yeshiva’s experience extends far beyond the classroom. Living and learning in such a close-knit environment, I had the privilege of forming profound bonds with fellow students and my Rabbanim. Together, we shared simcha, triumphs, challenges, and moments of vulnerability. These connections were forged during heartfelt tefilla, late-night discussions as my friends and I like to call DMC’s and a bunch of amazing experiences together like the gym, trips we would go on and lots of memories. This has enriched my life and deepened my understanding of the world.
Yeshiva has not only shaped my personal growth but also influenced my vision for the future. It has instilled within me an unwavering commitment to compassion, proper midot, and the pursuit of emuna and bitachon. As I return to Israel to Yeshiva Mikdash Melech Jerusalem this year, I aim to further refine my understanding of these principles and develop the skills necessary to effect positive change in this world. I aspire to become a Rabbi and contribute meaningfully to my family and my community.
While the impact of Yeshiva on my life is immeasurable, the financial commitment required for tuition, accommodation, flight, and other associated costs during my stay unfolds a significant challenge. Unfortunately, my family’s financial ability to make it possible has come to a reality and they are unable to cover the expenses of my return to Israel in August 2023. Therefore, I humbly turn to you, dear supporters, seeking your generous contributions to help me pursue this profound educational and spiritual opportunity.
In closing, I extend my deepest gratitude to each one of you for taking the time to read my story and consider supporting my cause. Returning to Yeshiva is not merely a personal aspiration; it is a path toward a greater purpose in life. Your support will not only enable me to continue this transformative journey but will also empower me to positively impact my siblings, my family, my friends, and inevitably the community around me.
By contributing to this campaign, you will become an integral part of this extraordinary endeavor. Together, let us embark on this path of growth, educational and spiritual exploration.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your consideration and support.
