Help Jennifer Overcome Financial Hardship

Hello, amazing friends and supporters! I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea to help us overcome a challenging period of financial hardship. Life sometimes throws unexpected curveballs, and unfortunately, we find ourselves in a situation where we need your support.

We are a hardworking couple that has always prided ourselves on self-sufficiency and financial stability. However, circumstances beyond our control have left us struggling to make ends meet. Jennifer is an appendix cancer survivor hoping to celebrate 5 years NED (no evidence of disease) on August 17th however her recent job loss has left her without health insurance and she’s unable to afford the MRI and visit with her oncologist that she desperately needs. We find ourselves facing significant financial burden that we are currently unable to bear alone and we’ve exhausted all of our savings.

Our Story:

We believe in the power of resilience and the strength of the human spirit. Despite the hardships we face, we remain optimistic and determined to turn things around. We have taken every possible step to cut costs, find new employment opportunities, and explore avenues for additional income. Khalid is working two jobs and Jennifer is doing gig-work while looking for full-time employment as a registered investment associate. However, sometimes it takes more than just our individual efforts to get back on track. Ideally, we would love to move back to the Chicago area because the job market is much more attractive and quite frankly, we miss “home”.

The funds raised will be allocated towards essential expenses such as locating and moving into an apartment, storage rental fees for our belongings in the meantime, utility bills, groceries, healthcare, and other necessary living costs.
