My Story: A Journey of Resilience Amidst Loss
My name is Yasmin, a young Palestinian woman in my early twenties from Gaza. Since I was a child, loss has been a constant companion. I lost my father when I was just two years old after a battle with cancer, and with him went any semblance of stability. Then war came, bringing with it new chapters of pain, as our home, once a sanctuary, was destroyed, leaving us homeless.
Amid the explosions, we also lost my sister’s husband, who had been our main source of support. The war not only claimed lives but also devastated my beloved city of Khan Younis and destroyed my university, Al-Azhar, where I was pursuing my dream of studying Computer Science. Despite all these tragedies, I still hold on to hope and remain determined to succeed.
I will be sharing photos showing the destruction of my city and university, along with proof of my academic excellence and ongoing efforts.

Every day here is a battle for survival. We live in constant fear, unsure of what tomorrow holds. We are searching for a glimmer of hope and a chance for a safe and dignified life, far from this ongoing pain.
Please, don’t leave us alone in this darkness. Help us before it’s too late. Our lives are at risk, and there’s no place for us in Gaza. Your help could be the difference between life and death.
We are a small family of four, without any provider, striving to rebuild our lives after losing everything. The total amount we need is 25,000 euros, with 20,000 euros dedicated to coordinating our safe exit from Gaza. This will cover visa fees, transportation, and essential logistics. The remaining 5,000 euros will serve as our starting point for a new life, helping us secure temporary housing and basic living expenses until we can stand on our own.
Your generous donation will help us find safety, build a new future, and start a life full of hope after all we’ve lost.
