I am reaching out on behalf of a remarkable young woman, Irene Barney Kirapash, whose inspiring story has touched the hearts of many. At the tender age of 11, Irene embarked on a courageous journey, leaving behind her home in Naivasha, Kenya, to escape the harsh realities of early marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM).

Irene's escape led her to Mission with a Vision, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing nomadic girls from such dire circumstances. With the support of generous donors, Irene was able to complete high school and a two-year beauty school program, opening doors to a brighter future. Now, a year after graduating, Irene faces new challenges in her quest for independence.

Despite working tirelessly as a hairdresser, Irene struggles to make ends meet. Commission-based work, coupled with an employer taking a significant cut of her earnings, makes it difficult for her to build a stable life. Additionally, Irene encounters discrimination as an independent woman and a member of a nomadic tribe.

However, an opportunity has presented itself that could be the key to Irene's success. She has received an offer to work as a hairdresser in Dubai, providing a chance for financial stability and personal growth. An agent has stepped forward to sponsor her for a five-year contract, with the possibility of renewal based on good conduct.
