Empowering Our Westside Communities

The Cincinnati Islamic Community Center (CICC) is spearheading the transformation of a former school building into a dynamic Social Impact Community Center, poised to serve a diverse array of residents and organizations. This 6,570 square-foot facility, boasting structural integrity with a new roof installed in 2022 and an upgraded air-conditioning system in 2023, offers ample space for community-driven initiatives.

While the exterior remains in excellent condition, the interior has experienced vandalism and weather-related damage, including broken windows, a destroyed electrical panel, and boiler system issues. Despite these setbacks, the building's electrical wiring is largely intact, with disruptions limited to fixtures. The renovation plan entails a complete interior demolition, followed by customized build-outs for committed provider tenants and grey-boxing additional spaces for future community partners.
