I CARE, Inc. Needs Your Help!

“I CARE, Inc. (Interfaith Companion And Ride Express) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides FREE TRANSPORTATION for DeKalb County, Georgia seniors (age 55 and older, including seniors with disabilities) to medical appointments and grocery shopping services. Rides are offered 5 days a week through volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles.

Founded in 1998, I CARE, Inc. has been providing FREE TRANSPORTATION to seniors in Dekalb County, GA. Through a dedicated group of volunteers, volunteer drivers, and donations from the community, I CARE has maintained its operations, which include its online presence and the ride management application that our volunteers have been supporting over many years.

NOW, I CARE, Inc. needs your help to expand our capabilities and improve our operations, including our TripManager application and website. Our goal is not only to recruit more drivers to help the seniors in our community but also to provide a more robust solution to enable our small staff to better manage ride requests, promote the service, and cover operating expenses.

We have set our target goal of $50,000 to help cover some legacy technology costs, and to provide us with the resources necessary to help us evolve our capabilities to meet the growing demands of our community.
