Sevgili Emrah Köroğlu’nu Son Yolculuğuna Uğurluyoruz

Değerli dostlar,

Büyük bir üzüntü ve tarifsiz bir acıyla, sevgili Emrah Köroğlu’nu ani bir kalp krizi sonucu kaybettiğimizi sizlerle paylaşıyoruz. Emrah, sadece sevgi dolu, çalışkan ve yardımsever bir insan değil, aynı zamanda Türkiye’deki yıkıcı deprem felaketinden sağ kurtulmuş bir depremzedeydi. Malatya Kurecik’ten deprem sonrasi daha iyi bir gelecek kurmak umuduyla Kanada’ya gelmişti.

Emrah, Kanada’ya gelmeden önce çocuklarını, deprem sonrası zor şartlarda hayatlarını sürdürmekte olan anneannelerine emanet etti. Çocuklar şu anda konteynerde yaşıyor ve Emrah, onları Kanada’ya getirip yeniden bir araya gelmenin hayalini kuruyordu. Ancak, ne yazık ki bu hayalini gerçekleştiremeden aramızdan ayrıldı.

Şimdi ailesinin isteği, Emrah’ı memleketi Türkiye’de toprağa vermek. Ancak, cenazenin Türkiye’ye nakli ve cenaze masrafları oldukça ağır bir yük oluşturuyor. Bu zor süreçte ailesine destek olabilmek için bir bağış kampanyası başlattık.

Yapacağınız bağışlar, Emrah’ın Türkiye’ye nakli ve cenaze işlemlerinin karşılanmasına doğrudan katkı sağlayacaktır. Vereceğiniz her destek, ailesinin omzundaki bu ağır yükü hafifletecek ve onları bu acı dolu günlerinde yalnız bırakmadığınızı hissettirecektir.

Emrah, hayatını çocuklarına daha parlak bir gelecek kurmaya adamıştı. Ömrü ne yazık ki bu hedefe ulaşmaya yetmedi, ancak onun anısını yaşatmak ve ailesine destek olmak hepimizin elinde.

Honoring Our Beloved Emrah Köroğlu

Dear friends,

It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we share the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved Emrah Köroğlu, who passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack. Emrah was not just a kind, loving, and hardworking man, but also a survivor of the devastating earthquake in Turkey. He came to Canada with a heart full of hope, determined to build a better future for his family.

Before leaving for Canada, Emrah entrusted his children to the care of their grandmother, who is currently raising them in a container home as they rebuild their lives after the earthquake. Emrah worked tirelessly with the dream of reuniting his family in Canada, creating a brighter and more stable future for his children. Tragically, his journey was cut short before he could fulfill this dream.

Now, his family’s wish is to bring Emrah back to Turkey so he can be laid to rest in his homeland, near his loved ones. However, the costs of repatriation and funeral arrangements are significant. To support his grieving family during this incredibly difficult time, we have started this fundraising campaign.

Your contributions will go directly toward covering the costs of transporting Emrah back to Turkey and ensuring he receives the farewell he so deeply deserves. No amount is too small, and every donation will help ease the heavy burden on his family as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
