Help support Ms. Sandra Edwards. For over 30 years, she has taken care of the Harlem McBride community by developing the Harlem McBride Neighborhood Association which help home owners support the development  and safety of the community. In 2005, the Dr. Carter G. Woodson Park was revitalized with the help of Sandra Edwards, which created a safe environment for the children of Oakland Park. Sandra also started the Dr. Carter G. Woodson Heritage Festival in 2006 to unite the Oakland Park community and created awareness about black history month.

Sandra Edwards can be found at the Oakland Park city commissioner meetings fighting for the resident of Harlem McBride ensuring the  voices of community is heard by city officals.

Now its time for the community at large to help Ms. Sandra Edwards continue the fight. She will be losing her home on 4/25/2016 due to foreclosure. She will no longer have a home. She is 62 years old. The home, she lived in has been in the Harlem McBride comminty for over 60 years. Her parents bought this home and raised five children. When her parent became ill, Sandra came home and cared for them through their final days. The funds raised wil be use to purchase her home back and ensure this home will remain and continue on.
