Irma Rodríguez perdió la batalla contra el cáncer a los 40 años de edad. Siendo el alma alegre de su familia, deja en vida a su esposo Cuauhtémoc Ortega junto con sus 3 hijas de 11, 7 y 3 años de edad, quienes son nativas de la ciudad de Tulsa, Oklahoma, EE. UU.
