Enable Elsie

There comes a time in a man's life when he has to swallow his pride and ask for help. This my friends is my time, forgive me!

My beautiful daughter Elsie has Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia, a rare disorder which effects her ability to speak making it difficult for her to communicate. Elsie has also been diagnosed with Autism. This has not stopped her from touching the lives of all those who meet her, she is such a beautiful soul who is loved by so many. Despite her needs she remains one of the happiest children I have ever met.

It is becoming clear that despite great efforts from her School and therapists she is in need of more intensive speech and language therapy. Her needs cannot be met by her current funding and therapy providers and so we are having to look at expensive private sessions, potentially 3 a week!

It breaks our hearts to be told that this wonderful, happy child is at risk of social isolation in the future.

Elsie's Mum Jasmine and I will do all we can to support her moving forward but there is only so much we can afford.
