ENCOURAGE YOUNG WRITERS AROUND THE WORLD

Author Bill Zimmerman has created an online comic strip creator for teachers, students, and people of all ages to express their ideas, tell stories and become creative authors.

The free comic strip application "www.makebeliefscomix.com" was created over 14 years ago and has since grown into a fun language learning, teaching, and storytelling tool for individuals and educational institutions all around the globe.

Our application is presently funded by ads and small contributions by users. Development costs are expensive. We need significant funding to expand and refine the functionality and features of our app so that users around the world can learn to express themselves through comic strip stories.

Google and UNESCO have cited MakeBeliefsComix as one of the world’s most innovative web sites in fostering literacy and reading.  And the American Library Association has put it on its list of Great Web Sites for Kids.
