Encouraging Elsa to think BIG through STEM
Donation protected
Elsa was nominated to participate in an amazing opportunity to attend the ExploreSTEM Summer Camp program at Loyola University. Here she could explore career opportunities, gain confidence and leadership skills and apply learning with a theme: “Mission to Mars.” It is a 6-Day immersive program that includes hands-on simulations, workshops, and competitions focused on forensics, robotics, medicine and civil engineering. One of the things that excites her the most is that they will have a former NASA astronaut as a keynote speaker!
Our family is in a new season after my career change which led to the kids changing schools. It has been an adjustment in every possible way, but she has been courageous and focused on academic excellence. She was disappointed that the cost of this program was steep and out of our price range, but I want her to always think BIG since success is not unavailable to certain demographics. Here’s to taking a chance to think beyond rural Michigan and partner with our loved ones to challenge and fuel her beautiful mind! We want so much for her than we can provide alone. She is an incredible blessing to us and everyone she encounters.
Thank you so much for your support whether through encouragement or donation!
