Steven Booth, aka Steven Santa Cruz, was a brilliant creative spirit who in the last decade of his life was starting to make headway as a film director. When he died of Covid-19 at the start of 2021, he had just finished shooting End Credits, a martial-arts short film intended to be a teaser for a larger project. It stars the French actor (and Marvel/DC stuntman) Jean-Paul Ly and British actress Emma Saunders.
A team of us completed it posthumously, but now we're looking to give it a wider life at film festivals around the world. We've premiered it at the Fighting Spirit Film Festival, where Steve met Jean-Paul, and there are Sheffield and London screenings upcoming. But we'd like it to go much further, if possible.
