End Domestic Violence in Immigrant African Communities
Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference by stopping and preventing the cycle of domestic violence against African immigrants, notably women and children, in Greater Houston, Texas? I am raising money to benefit Grace St. Jude, which is a participant in FJC’s Fiscal Sponsorship Program, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause, which means so much to me!
More information about FJC – A Foundation of Philanthropic Funds: Since its inception, FJC has developed one of the most flexible donor-advised funds available. FJC has also created a fiscally sponsored program that incubates nonprofit organizations or projects under its 501(c)(3) umbrella.
Your donation will help Grace St. Jude:
• Reach and assist African immigrants who are victims/survivors of domestic violence, but whose victimization is hardly acknowledged.
• Break the cycle of domestic violence through education and awareness-based community outreach to diverse African immigrant communities.
• Advocate for the inclusion of the specific needs of immigrant African victims/survivors in domestic violence victim services.
• Provide immigrant African victims/survivors of domestic violence with referrals to appropriate direct services.
• Work with perpetrators of domestic violence to receive the help they need to put an end to their abusive behavior.
