In Loving Memory of Maria

Our mother, Maria, is a truly remarkable woman, a hard worker, and the most resilient spirit we know. It's been extremely difficult for me to share this news and see her in this dying state. Despite her successfully beating breast cancer over the last few months, she is now facing terminal cancer. An unexpected battle that's left her family, and us heartbroken and in need of your support.

This past week, Maria had over a gallon of fluid drained from her lungs and around her heart, making it difficult for her to breathe. Doctors had to induce her into a coma so that they could drain some of the fluid in hopes to recover her strength for surgery to see what's going on inside. While in surgery, doctors had to stop mid-way because her lungs and heart were not responsive to the procedure. As of July 15th, we have been informed that there are no treatment options.

She has done so much for her family and nonfamily members. This news is devastating for someone who wants to live. We can only give her comfort and support at this urgent time. We ask for your contributions to directly help Maria with life-ending medical expenses, extended hospital stays, and funeral preparations.
