I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart, yet with a glimmer of hope. My name is Jonathan Villanueva and I'm writing this today because II am in need of your support for my life-changing journey - a kidney transplant.

After having type 2 Diabetes for 24 years, I developed Hypertension in 2019 which led to Kidney Disease. Despite staying steadfast to a strict renal and hypertensive diet, it had only delayed the inevitable diagnosis

I have been battling chronic kidney disease for the past four years;and it has taken a toll on every aspect of my life. Despite the challenges, I have always remained resilient, fueled by the love and support from my church, close friends and family.

My Doctors have informed me in 2022 that I had developed Ens Stage Kidney Failure, and that a kidney transplant is my best chance at a healthier and more fulfilling life. I have been on an aggressive dialysis treatment ,and it strips the life out of me almost each time I go. I’m in dialysis for 12 hours a week and come home at times too tired barely able to hold my head up from dialysis treatment

- [ ] I have been blessed beyond measure that I have received a live donor that is willing to donate a kidney to me.! He has stood by his decision unchanged throughout my journey; so I am pushing full steam ahead For the next steps .

The cost associated with a kidney transplant are considerably high and while I have insurance, it doesn't cover all the associated expenses. From medical bills to post-surgery care, the financial burden is overwhelming. This is where I humbly ask for your support. I have created this GoFundMe page to raise funds that will help me cover costs of the transplant and ensure a smoother recovery process.
