End TBI Epilepsy 4 Twin
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Melissa and this is my story of my twin Monica.
She was a person who was adventurous and always included abundance of joy and happiness. We did everything together, including joining the Military, deployment, school and even civilian jobs. Everyday was going great and we had plan to join PA school together. But one day, she became ill and we went to urgent care, but everything came back negative for Covid and flu. They gave her a breathing treatment and told her told her to just wait it out. The very next day, she tried to drive back to urgent but ended up having multiple seizures in the parking lot. Luckily bystanders were able to help and protect her from injuring herself more. Turns out Monica had sustained meningitis, inflammation in her brain, leukocytosis and a metabolic disorder. Since that day, she continued to have multiple seizures a day, and has been admitted in the NICU. Monica no longer able to work but tries continuous to conquer her dreams. We are asking for donations to aid her journey and everything and anything counts. I have started a foundation to support Epilepsy and TBI. Please help me help her. Thank you.
