Join Us In Supporting The Integrated Recovery Program: A Holistic Approach to Mental Health and Addiction
Join the team at Change Space Foundation, along with harm reduction advocate and addiction educator Guy Felicella, Canadian icon, recording artist, and bestselling author Bif Naked, as well as speaker and legendary music executive Mathew Knowles, in supporting the Integrated Recovery Program.
Did you know that in January 2024, an average of 6.4 individuals per day overdosed from unregulated drugs in British Columbia? This statistic is deeply troubling. Additionally, 80% of these overdoses occurred indoors, with 47% happening in private residences. This shows how illicit drug addiction is infiltrating our homes, workplaces, and social circles, affecting individuals from all walks of life. This urgent issue demands collective attention and action.
We are Change Space Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting mental health and addiction initiatives in our communities. Our first initiative, the Integrated Recovery Program, combines private healthcare resources with the empathy and support of non-profit organizations to offer a holistic and root cause approach to healing. Empower Health and Wellness, a private healthcare clinic in Vancouver, BC, leads this effort by using scientifically-backed addiction recovery techniques that address the mental health issues underlying addiction.
Having just completed its pilot phase, the program has received exceptional feedback, showing promising results. Participants have reported significant improvements, including a 76% reduction in PTSD related symptoms and a 30% reduction in anxiety symptoms. More data is currently being collected and this page will be updated as those results are found. This initiative not only aids individuals struggling with addiction but also benefits society by addressing the rise of anxiety and depression in our communities.
The Integrated Recovery Program stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and compassion, offering hope for those seeking a path to healing and renewal. With its initial success, we aim to expand its impact nationwide.
To contribute, donate to Change Space Foundation's crowdfunding campaign. All proceeds will directly support the ongoing development of the Integrated Recovery Program, enabling it to reach as many Canadians as possible. This initiative represents a tangible solution to the mental health and addiction crisis. Every little bit counts. No amount is too small—when we join together as a community, it can make a real difference. Join us in being the catalyst for change.
