Take Care of Y.U.N.G. Harlem

Y.U.N.G. Harlem non-profit organization aims to lead by example, providing positive leadership for youth of New York City. Our mission is to restore community integrity within the youth of the communities in which we serve. Y.U.N.G. Harlem understands the struggles of our peers and works to use leveled communication as a way for our peers to exceed their dreams of social, financial and academic success.
Over the past five years Y.U.N.G. Harlem has grown substantially, not just in its membership but also in its concepts in working toward the greater good of the community. Now incorporating a host of events and local high school geared college encouragement tours, Y.U.N.G. Harlem is able to reach out and speak on the core issues that hinder the success of New York City youth.

Y.U.N.G. Harlem looks to The Harlem Renaissance as a model for reigniting the lights of that era in our community. From the arts to entrepreneurship, we have the power to remind the world of Harlem's legacy of excellence. In order to restore our community and culture on the road to Renaissance, we must first restore the six pillars; each of which all intertwine to build strong individuals for an even stronger community:
