African Assistance for Animals: Endoscope

The goal of this fundraiser is to help procure a diagnostic endoscope/gastroscope for “ENDIP Wildlife Laboratory and Diagnostic Services” here in Phalaborwa South Africa.

In our line of work we service the local communities and traditional villages along the western boundaries of the Kruger national park. These typically low income communities are forced to see their animals die because of the high costs of animal health services. Our wish is to obtain a gastroscope which we can use to retrieve foreign objects from the animal if it has eaten something like plastic or even wire, without the need for expensive surgery. With this tool we will be able to help many animals and save the owners a lot of money which they need for sustaining their families. We will even be able to assist in similar cases concerning wildlife species conservation.
