End-of-life care for Verin Lewis

Hello all,

I'm an old friend of Verin's - although he was really more like an uncle to me as a child. I grew up across the street from this wild man, and have been close friends with his daughter Katherine for nearly as long as I can remember. As you might know, he's had a long struggle against cancer and chemo, but has recently chosen to enter hospice care. He's still raging, and refusing to go gentle, but that good night does await him soon, and the rest of us will have to continue our rage on his behalf.

This fundraiser is to give Verin the best companionship and comfort we can in whatever time he has remaining, and to help support those he leaves behind. The fund request is:
