Endometrial Cancer Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Jana, and I'm fundraising to pay for the metric ton of medical bills that have started piling up.

I got diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia and stage 1 grade 1 endometrial cancer back in January, after being basically dismissed and overlooked by doctors for two years when my symptoms first started, and while my new medical team has been spectacular, it turns out that having cancer is freaking expensive.

I'm also getting pretty screwed over by my insurance company, who has refused to pay for the required imaging I needed for my oncologist to even schedule my surgery, which will cost me $2400 out of pocket now, they have billed me $405 for the first office visit with her, and my deductible is pretty astronomical to begin with, so United won't actually pay for anything they don't HAVE to until I max out.

Additionally, I'm getting relentless bills from the endless series of lab work and pathology tests I've needed to have done, and will undoubtedly need to continue after my hysterectomy.

As of 2/29, I have also just been informed by my oncologist that I have a CI3 cervical lesion (which is about the worst you can get without ACTIVELY having cervical cancer), which is now getting removed before I can get the rest of this junk out of me, will be tested, and will determine if I get the minimally invasive surgery six weeks later, or have to switch to a radical hysterectomy and potential chemo/radiation.

I'm already pretty paycheck to paycheck as it is, because life is expensive without a medical crisis, so I'm just trying to at least cover the bills right now and still be able to buy groceries and pay my rent.
