Tax deductible
The owners of Enfield Produce and Deli, Ron and Lauren, and, located at 565 Enfield St. in Enfield, CT are partnering with RiseUP for Arts and the community to bring a beautiful mural to Enfield. Enfield Produce and Deli is a family-owned and operated business, and it is their dream to be your Community Store.

As part of the dream, we are planning out a mural to beautify our neighborhood. The mural will go on the side of our building, along Montano St on an 85' wall. The mural is designed to showcase the beautiful diversity that exists within our Enfield community. In the final stages, it will combine Enfield landmarks such as the gazebo, the town hall, and the congregational church, with people from all walks of life interacting throughout.

To kick off our mural, once we are raising funds to host a Community Paint Day in which everyone is welcome to join us and help paint the first stages of the mural! Think paint by numbers on a giant scale! Food, beverages, and activities will be provided as the community works together to create a masterpiece. Date will be announced once we get closer to our goal.

We truly appreciate all your support!

The mural will be painted by local Enfield master muralist, Chris Gann. Chris Gann was born in Polk County, FL and moved to the CT shoreline to attend the Lyme Academy and since graduating in 2010 he’s worked on multiple community-based art projects and murals while living in Enfield with his wife and two children. Using watercolor and gouache for smaller works on paper then acrylic and house paint for large-scale paintings. Chris’s work has a theme of scattered faces that mostly form a larger face when the viewer engages with the work and changes perspective.

He enjoys making art that excites people’s imagination and invites them to see the painting as a whole from a distance and a different experience up close with the accumulation of different expressions of humanity.

Each face in his "Human Façade Series" is made of several layers as an amalgamation of cartoonish, aggressive strokes, and vibrant colors. he's looking for beauty within the confusing, buzzing complexity.
